Tiffany & Tim | #Tpartyof2

Earlier I posted some incredible custom Pop-up Save the Date mailers for my friend Tiffany. I was also so honored to be asked to design the rest of the materials for her wedding! The pop-up announcements were quite the hit so we wanted the invitation set to feel more elegant for their evening wedding in Gainesville, Florida.

First I designed a monogram using their initials to be used to customize all of their wedding materials, including a personalized stamp for sealing envelopes!

Their wedding materials included a formal invitation, interactive RSVP card (because, who doesn’t love mad-libs?), and an additional insert for a special scent-free request.

I was thrilled to have the chance to design something so unique for a close friend on her very special day. The whole event was a beautiful testament to this amazing couple that I will never forget.

Marina & Peter’s Save the Date

Marina and Peter were lucky enough to hold their wedding in beautiful Nicaragua, where Marina’s family lives. Both have very large families and had to send out announcements fairly early for their destination wedding.

In order to save on postage to send Save the Dates to their guests, I designed a very simple postcard mailer using photos from their engagement shoot.

Postcard announcements are a fast and reliable way to send out announcements on a budget!

Jenny & Eric plus some furry friends!

This year I got to work an extremely fun wedding, designing table numbers and other fun signage for a co-worker’s backyard wedding. Jenny and Eric moved to Gainesville last summer and knew their picturesque yard would make the perfect venue for their wedding. Being the animal lovers they are (Jenny & I work together at Alachua County Humane Society) her wedding just HAD to include some furry friends. Jenny asked each member of her family and bridal party to send us pictures of their pets, which I then turned into unique table numbers for the reception.

I also created this Instagram sign so guests knew where to tag their pics!

Jenny and Eric has so many amazing DIY details that I was thrilled to help her out with.

The best part? My rescued pitbull Daphne got to be the “Dog of Honor” the entire night!

Pop-up Save the Dates!

Ever wondered how an event planner sends an announcement for one of the biggest events of her life? POP UP Save the Dates of course!

My dear friend and fabulous event planner Tiffany came to me with an ambitious idea, a pop-up save the date to announce her wedding! Of course, we knew we had to delve into DIY land to create something this unique. We researched card stocks and printing sources and I designed this mailer featuring the bride and groom under a romantic banner that literally pops off the page.

With the help of friends and family the pop outs came to life. Look at all the adorable Tiffany and Tims!

The theme for Tiffany’s wedding was romantic and ethereal, just like a fairy tale! I think this announcement truly captures their story and set the tone for the materials to come!

The Animal Education Center

I wanted to share a booklet brochure design I made for a non-profit zoo in Tehachapi, California. The Animal Education Center at Windswept Ranch.

I had the opportunity to design a brochure as a class project. For class purposes, we were told to assume we had an “unlimited budget,” so fancy die cuts, spot colors and paper choices were all at our finger tips.

Since I knew that my project could someday be used for a non-profit organization however, I decided to keep this design elegant and professional. Instead of using die cut pages throughout, I designed a pocket that my brochure can slide into. This pocket, seen here made out of a heavy cover stock paper has a specialty die cut of the enlarged logo from the Animal Education center, which I had the opportunity to design as well.

The brochure itself is an 8.5" x 5.5" saddle stitched booklet brochure that fits neatly into the pocket. With limited information and images, I designed a clean, informational booklet that I hope I can update for the organization to use in the future.
